Turkish Journal of Psychiatry

Turkish Journal of Psychiatry (Turk Psikiyatri Derg) is the scientific journal of Turkish Association of Nervous and Mental Health. The journal has been published on a subscription basis four issues annually in March, June, September and December since 1990. Turkish Journal of Psychiatry is indexed in PubMed, Index Medicus, TUBITAK Tıp, Psych-Info, Türkiye Atıf Dizini and has been ranked in Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) since 2005.

Turkish Journal of Psychiatry is a peer-reviewed journal that covers studies on especially clinical psychiatry, psychopathology, psychiatric epidemiology, psychiatric treatments (psychotherapy, psychopharmacology and the other somatic treatments), and imaging, neurophysiology and genetic studies related to mental disorders. The journal also includes fields of child and child and adolescent mental health, psychology, psychiatric nursing. Target audience of the journal cosists of physicians,  other professionals working on mental health (psychologists, psychological counselor, nurses, social workers..) and researchers.

Manuscripts sent to be published in the journal are subject to independent reviewer control by purified from author and institution information. Submitted manuscripts should not be previously published or under review for publication elsewhere. After peer-review process, accepted manuscripts are printed in Turkish and published online both in Turkish and English. Manuscripts must be submitted using the online submission system at https://www.turkpsikiyatri.com/submission. Turkish Journal of Psychiatry will receive a publication charge of 300 USD for original investigations, review articles and case reports submitted as of March 1, 2022 if manuscripts are accepted for publication after peer-review process.

The authors are responsible for the opinions stated in the manuscripts in the journal. All copyrights of the published content belong to the Nervous and Mental Health Association of Turkey.
